After deciding not to learn any lesson from several massively failed earlier attempts of creating something consistently, with undying hopes that things will take a turn for the better, and trying to hold myself accountable, I have decided to jump into another herculean task.
In this attempt, I will be creating one illustration per day based on the prompts I have gathered over the last week. Most of the illustrations will usually revolve around the theme of food but knowing me, I'm sure to deviate from the theme as the month advances. Or not. Who's to tell?
I also plan to accompany the illustration with a brief text, say, no more than 500 words. This text might be a flash fiction piece, a sub-section of a short story or essay, or an entirely random non-fiction piece. Will poetry try to butt in and claim its spot too? Only time will tell.
I can only hope that I stick through with it until the end, and even if unable to create for all of 31 days, I do it for the passing marks I have set for myself, that is 16 days. Join in, won't you?
